The short version

This website does not have contact forms, patient accounts, or advertising or analytics trackers. We only receive personal information when you choose to contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email. We use it to arrange and provide your care, and we do not sell it or use it for marketing.

Information you send us

When you call, message or email to book an appointment or ask a question, we receive what you share, which may include your name, phone number, email address, the reason for your visit, and medical reports or prescriptions.

We use this information to schedule your appointment, prepare for your consultation or procedure, reply to you and follow up on your care. Health information is treated as confidential, in line with medical ethics and Indian law.

WhatsApp and email

WhatsApp is operated by Meta and email by your email provider, and their own privacy policies apply to messages while they are in transit and stored on their services. Please share only what is needed to arrange your care. If you would rather not send reports electronically, bring them to your consultation instead.

Information collected when you visit the website

Like most websites, our hosting server keeps standard technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. These are used to keep the site secure and working, and are not used to identify you.

The website does not set cookies for ordinary visitors. Cookies are only used when a site administrator logs in to manage the website.

Third-party services

Some parts of the website load content from other companies, which may receive your IP address when this happens:

  • Google Fonts, which provides the typefaces used on the site.
  • Google Maps, which shows the map on the Contact page and opens directions to our chambers. Google may set its own cookies when you use the map.
  • WhatsApp, which opens when you tap a WhatsApp button.

These services are governed by their own privacy policies.

Who we share information with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only when it is needed:

  • with the hospital or clinic where you are seen or treated, so that your care can be arranged;
  • with other doctors or laboratories involved in your care, where you agree or where it is necessary for your treatment;
  • when we are required to by law.

Hospitals and clinics where you are seen, such as Apollo Hospitals and KPC Medical College and Hospital, keep their own medical records under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as it is needed to provide and follow up on your care, and for any period required by law or medical-records rules. After that it is deleted or securely destroyed.

Keeping information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so please contact us by phone if you have concerns about sending something electronically.

Your rights

Under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or update it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and withdraw consent you have given. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

To make a request or raise a concern, email docbrc93@gmail.com. We will respond within the time required by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

If a patient is under 18, a parent or guardian should contact us and share information on their behalf.
